Iolite is a beautiful violet-blue colored magnesium and aluminum-rich silicate mineral with a hardness of 7-7.5. Known as a stone of inversion, shamanic journey, soul retrieval, and healing of old wounds, it assists in blending conscious thinking with intuition and psychic awareness and aids in accessing information about past lives. Due to Iolites calming properties, it is also often used to reach focused meditation.
