Beautifully striped gray and brown stone with circular ring patterns - truly eye catching! Botswana Agate is a long believed to provide comfort and protection from feelings of loneliness and loss, in addition to supporting unconditional love.

Agate is a translucent variety of banded microcrystalline quartz. The name agate comes the Achete River in Sicily where these semi-precious stones were found in ancient times. Agates are known to have stabilizing and strengthening influences.
