Discovered in 1962 by Sid Pieters while prospecting for gemstones on some farmland in Namibia, Africa. Love Pietersite!

Pietersite is such a lovely stone to admire. I’m a big fan of blue variety. With larger specimens you can see a color shift that looks like clouds moving. The strand I received had tans, browns and some blues. I may order more to try and get more of my favorite. The brown & tans are interesting too and as neutrals will definitely work well with other beaded projects. Very happy with the quality of all the beads I’ve ordered from Tejas. Would highly recommend and will reorder.
