Gorgeous green moss agate beads.

Agate is a translucent variety of banded microcrystalline quartz. The name agate comes the Achete River in Sicily where these semi-precious stones were found in ancient times. Agates are known to have stabilizing and strengthening influences.

The Moss Gate stones are intense. Each stone is a bit different so as not to be boring. I have a Green Moss Agate carved heart that I plan on making a necklace with. Can't wait!
