Zircon is a nesosilicate mineral, known for its exceptional hardness and durability. It is a very dense mineral with a specific gravity ranging from 3.90 to 4.73 g/cm3, meaning that it's notably heavier than quartz at 2.65 g/cm3, and even slightly heavier than diamond 3.52 g/cm3. Zircon's high refractive index and dispersion give it a brilliance comparable to diamond, making it a sought-after gemstone in various colors.

Elastic cords can be used with beads 4mm and larger, but it will not fit through most beads smaller than 4mm. It's recommended to use 0.5mm elastic cord.
