After a friend found corals on his trip to Hawaii, he gave them to me to make pendants. Freshwater pearls seemed to be the right finish for these calm but muted corals. I used the more consistently regular ones for the more formal coral mounted on sea glass and mirror and slightly irregular ones for the coral mounted on coral.
These rhodonite beads have such a beautiful soft pink and are another one that I order and use frequently.
